Cliffs of Fundy & Nova Scotia Shore

The eastern side of the bay features tidal bores, ancient fossils, and rugged sea cliffs.

The Nova Scotia side of the Bay of Fundy offers a different perspective on the massive tides. The incoming water pushes up local rivers to create visible tidal bores. Coastal erosion constantly exposes a 300-million-year-old fossil record.

Driving this coast requires planning around the 6-hour tidal schedule. A vehicle is highly recommended since public transit between major natural sites is virtually non-existent.
